Success confirmed for the 6th edition of ShieldAfrica

From June 8 to 10, 2021, more than 90 official delegations from 31 countries attended ShieldAfrica 2021, international security and defence exhibition of reference in Africa.
They discovered a dedicated offer presented by 95 exhibitors from many countries, making Abidjan a real high-level platform for exchanges.
ShieldAfrica hosted during 3 days and in a specific context 44 official security delegations and 46 from the defence sector. Five African regions were represented and 11 ministers honored their visit, thus confirming the importance of the trade fair in the reflections of States for a safer Africa.
95 international exhibitors from more than 20 countries
95 international exhibitors from more than 20 countries presented their equipment and products adapted to the security and defence needs for the development of Africa. Among the highlights of the event is the presence of 6 African countries (South Africa, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Morocco) and 2 foreign pavilions: France and Pakistan.
In addition, more than 2,800 professional visitors from 47 countries and more than 60 journalists came to discover equipment and systems specific to the problems of the African continent.
Along with the exhibition, the participants could attend live demonstrations offered by special units of Côte d'Ivoire: the Police Research and Assistance Force (FRAP), the Intervention Unit of the National Gendarmerie (UIGN), French Forces based in Côte d'Ivoire, Ivorian Special Forces or even by the Group of Military Firemen (GSPM).

ShieldAfrica confirms its position as the exhibition of reference designed to security and defence authorities of the African continent.
